In the summer of 2007, San Jacinto Elementary became the first No Excuses University in the state of Texas. We determined that the only way our students could reach their full potential in life was to become "college ready". We committed to seeing that our students would become college ready and aware of the benefits of college the minute they entered our school.
Making this commitment completely transformed our school. We truly have created a "Culture of Universal Achievement".
